Information Technology is a fast-paced sector that requires growing knowledge, openness to new ideas, and comfortability with change. Understanding that technology evolves quickly, I strive to learn and implement the greatest and latest technology that organizations need to succeed and stay ahead of the curve. I help businesses focus on their work by putting the right technology in their hands, while taking away what doesn't work, allowing them to focus on what really matters - their passion.
I started my career interning at a software company in San Diego, CA and hit the ground running, building the skills I would need to move into what would become my career. After working there for a few years, I landed my first full fledged gig at Apple where I learned to love the freedom computers gave to people. I worked on the front lines and had the amazing opportunity to work with so many people that used this technology to do the crazy and wonderful things they loved. I was awestruck day after day by the things people did with technology, and damn was it inspiring. I worked at Apple for 4 years before moving into a role with a creative agency in Portland, Oregon. I am now over 4 years in Germany (Berlin) and am currently working at Taxfix, where I am continuing to help build systems and a support network to help those here create amazing work.
